Terms of Use

These Terms set out the conditions for using the tools and content provided by ReiRei System (the “Site”). By using any tool or content on the Site, you are deemed to have agreed to these Terms.

1. Web tools

Tools that run in the browser are free for anyone to use. No permission request and no credit are required, whether you are an individual or a company, and whether the use is commercial or non-commercial.

2. Downloadable tools

Tools you download and run (“downloadable tools”) are also free to use as a rule. Credit is required only in the cases described in 2-2.

2-1. Use as an individual

Individuals may use the tools without credit, including in monetised streams and videos.

2-2. Use connected with a company or organisation

Please include a credit when a stream or video falls under either of the following.

• Activity carried out as a member of a company, organisation, or agency
• A stream or video made at the request of, or commissioned by, a company or organisation

Place the credit where viewers can see it, such as the description field. It is not required on platforms that provide nowhere to write one.

3. Rights in what you create

You hold the rights to images and data you generate or edit with the tools. There is no restriction on how you use them, commercial use included, and the Site claims no rights over them.

Where material you feed into a tool is subject to a third party’s rights, however, follow that rights holder’s terms.

4. Prohibited conduct

The following are prohibited.

1. Conduct that breaks the law, or that is connected with criminal activity
2. Conduct that infringes the rights of others (infringement of copyright, trademark, or likeness rights; defamation; discrimination; harassment; impersonation; and the like)
3. Redistributing or selling the tools themselves, distributing modified versions, or presenting them as your own work
4. Placing an excessive load on the Site’s server, or attempting unauthorised access
5. Any other conduct the Site reasonably judges to be inappropriate

Introducing the tools to other people is welcome. When you do, please link to the Site rather than re-uploading the distributed files yourself.

5. Disclaimer

• The tools are provided as-is. No warranty of any kind is given, express or implied, including as to fitness for a particular purpose, continuity of operation, or freedom from defects.
• The Site is not liable for any damage arising from the use of, or the inability to use, the tools.

We recommend backing up important data before you use the tools.

6. Changes and discontinuation

The Site may change what the tools do, or stop offering them, without notice.

7. Changes to these Terms

These Terms may be changed without notice. If you use the tools after a change, you are deemed to have agreed to the revised Terms.

8. Governing law and jurisdiction

• These Terms are governed by the laws of Japan.
• Any dispute arising in connection with these Terms shall be submitted, depending on the amount in dispute, to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Tokyo District Court or the Shibuya Summary Court as the court of first instance.

9. Authoritative version

The Japanese version of these Terms is the authoritative text. Translations into other languages are provided for reference only; where they differ, the Japanese version prevails.
